Five Gorgeous Wineries in Sonoma County

Early Spring Vineyard with Mustard in Full Bloom, Sonoma County,

Sonoma County as a wine region is about as diverse as it gets. Stretching up alongside the Pacific Ocean from San Pablo Bay to the border of Mendocino County, and extending over forty miles inland to the Mayacamas Mountains range, this little bit of heaven we like to call “the other wine country” showcases stellar cooler-climate varietals like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay which hail from a rugged terroir found along the Sonoma Coast Appellation. The warmer-climate varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc found further inland in the Alexander Valley AVA brim with lush, full-bodied and fruit-forward profiles in their wines.

So with over 400 wineries across Sonoma County to choose from, how do you plan your day of wine tasting? Not to worry, our VinoVisit Team has you covered. Here are five recommended wineries to visit when you’re in Sonoma County.
